How we impacted the project

We specialize in achieving world-renowned IPs' 2D-to-3D transformation, while complying with brand manuals and optimizing for mobile device performance. Our achievements include:

Our team's efficient project pipeline organization has reduced time to market for our clients. We're proud to have managed multiple art styles, ranging from Peppa Pig to Transformers and Thomas the Train.

Client:      Colombian police force

Project:    Police cadet training metaverse

Industry:  Training / simulation 

Description:

Our team was selected to develop what is known as the training metaverse for cadets of the Colombian National Police. This is a virtual reality simulation and training program that aims to provide police cadets with a first approach to executing specific protocols such as registering people, dealing with domestic violence, and closing public establishments. In this program, the cadet will encounter multiple scenarios and characters with different reactions, where it is possible for the user to experience a virtual stabbing or shooting that is transmitted to the body through haptic suits. This is a constantly evolving and developing project that aims to achieve a better trained and prepared police force for the situations they will encounter on the streets.

300.000 sq ft recreated and optimized scenarios by photogrammetry

VR haptic feedback simulating gun shot and stabbing

800+ trained police cadets

How we impacted the project

  • By means of 3D scanning, we create digital twins of the equipment used by a police officer, as well as all the objects around them.

  • Using photogrammetry, we captured a 3D representation of a Colombian street spanning approximately 300,000 square feet with houses on either side.

  • All scanned and photogrammetry-created elements were optimized to run in virtual reality while meeting FPS expectations according to the PC being used.

  • We integrated the TeslaSuit haptic suit into our VR application.

  • We developed over 20 different characters with three personality modes that can react in a friendly, moderate, or aggressive manner.

  • To date, our simulator has trained over 800 cadets of the Colombian police force.

  • Our team took on the project from initial planning to execution and implementation for end-users at the police cadet school.

Client:      Spanish soccer league

Project:    LaLiga e-space

Industry:  Sports/marketing 

Description:

We created the first video game-like virtual space that brought people together around one of the world's most important sporting events: El Clásico, the football match between Real Madrid and Barcelona. In this meeting place called LaLiga eSpace, football fans could learn more about the history of these two teams, as well as the other teams in the Spanish football league. Additionally, we developed a conference room, a space with mini games, a room showcasing the great historical figures of Spanish football, and a sponsor room. All of these virtual spaces were simultaneously located in five different countries, with adjustments made based on the specific event dates and with mobile applications localized in different languages.
